Katie Edwards
Founder & Creative Director
Katie Edwards is a photographer and filmmaker and the founder of the Train Window Archive. She has travelled more than 70,000 km by rail across 42 countries, building an archive of more than 100,000 photographs.
She leads the photography, films, exhibitions and publications produced by the Studio.
John Edwards
Technology Director
John Edwards is a software architect and former CTO of ScanSafe and Wandera, later acquired by Cisco and Jamf. He holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development from UCL, awarded with Distinction.
He develops the software used to process, organise, search and visualise the Train Window Archive.
Hannes Schewe
Design Director
Hannes Schewe is an architect and designer with an M.A. in Architecture from the Technical University of Munich.
He leads the architectural and exhibition design of the Studio, including the development of its modular exhibition systems and installations.
