The Archive

The train window provides a constant frame through which to observe the world. As the archive grows, individual photographs become something larger, revealing patterns, stories and connections that would otherwise remain unseen. Because railways follow fixed lines, the same journeys can be revisited over months, years and decades, creating a visual record of both geography and time.
